SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — A Dunkin' Donuts in Fulton County failed a recent health inspection with a score of 62.
The manager at the Dunkin' Donuts on Fulton Industrial Boulevard told Channel 2’s Carol Sbarge what he did to get an 88 Thursday on a re-inspection.
One Fulton County resident told Sbarge that a health inspection score of 62 is nasty. Jenai Johnson says she works in a restaurant and says failing is unacceptable.
Some of the violations included food debris build up on the floor near donuts, no certified food manager for the restaurant, water was leaking from the ice machine and the inspector observed an employee failing to wash hands when entering the food service area.
Sbarge went to the south Fulton County restaurant to ask about the violations. The manager told Sbarge by phone that he immediately got the leak on the ice machine fixed. He said he now has an additional manager who is new and everyone is being retrained.
A Fulton County Health inspector did the re-inspection, which usually happens within 10 days, and now the Dunkin' Donuts has a score of 88 which is a “B.”
