SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — The South Fulton Police Department says a crash in the city killed a person and critically injured another.
The crash happened at about 6:10 a.m. on Wednesday near Fulton Industrial Boulevard at Westgate Parkway SW.
Preliminary details from the crash investigation indicated a truck and a passenger vehicle were involved.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Right now, South Fulton officers have traffic restrictions in place as emergency personnel work the scene and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
Police said more information will be released as it becomes available and the circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
