Man with dementia who wandered from home found safe

Willie Johnson 79-year-old Willie Johnson, who has dementia, walked away from his residence near Butner Rd and Camp Creek Pkwy at approximately 4:40 PM today and has not been seen since.

SOUTH FULTON, Ga. — South Fulton police say a man with dementia who wandered away from his home has been found safe.

They announced on Friday morning that Willie Johnson, 79, had been found by family members and police officers.

Johnson had wandered away from his home on Camp Creek Parkway at approximately 4:40 p.m.
