UNION CITY, Ga. — A family is heartbroken over the unexpected death of a teenager.
The vigil was held Sunday night in front of a Union City BP gas station where a car hit and killed Antshanthony Bell, 19.
Family released balloons in her honor as well.
“I can’t find no words,” Antshanthony mother Latasha Bell told Channel 2’s Rikki Klaus. “The world … I lost everything. She’s my support system.”
The grieving mother held back tears at a vigil Sunday night for her middle child.
Dozens gathered near the spot where a car hit and killed the teen along State Road 138 near Oakley Road in Union City.
“I’m just going through emotional distress right now,” Bell said.
Family and friends laid out candles, hugged and cried, and released balloons as a celebration of Antshanthony’s young life.
