85 dogs seized during house fire

SOUTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. — Investigators say a man faces animal cruelty charges after they seized dozens of dogs and puppies from a house.

Animal control officers swarmed a home along Lori Lane after learning that 85 dogs were being housed there in deplorable conditions.

It happened near Old National and Highway 138.

"It complicated our efforts because we could not get inside the house to fight the fire," said Charles Stubbs with Fulton County Fire and Rescue.
