ATLANTA — According to an NBA source, the Atlanta Hawks are in the process of being sold to billionaire Antony Ressler and his ownership group for around $750 million.
Channel 2's Zach Klein reports an NBA source revealed the sale could be announced Wednesday afternoon or Thursday.
That same NBA source says the Ressler's ownership group consists of former NBA player Grant Hill, Jesse Itzler, and Spanx owner Sara Blakely.
The $750 million price tag could be increased depending on how the team's debt is worked into the sale of the team.
