Hundreds of soldiers are now back home with their families, welcomed with a special ceremony. But one welcome in particular stole the show.
Video shows a little girl run up to her military dad as he stands in formation with dozens of his colleagues. She instantly spotted him standing in formation and couldn’t wait another second to give him a big hug.
“I was trying to decide whether or not it was good practice to you know break formation but I didn’t have the heart in me to not give my little baby a hug, so I had to go ahead and bend over and give her a hug and kiss on the forehead,” said Sgt. Michael Killion, U.S. Army.
Families welcomed home 240 soldiers with plenty of hugs and tears. The troops returned from a nine month deployment in Asia.
