Road rage shooting victim drives into Roswell after being shot in Cobb County, police say

ROSWELL, Ga. — Police said a driver fired multiple shots at another vehicle while they were travelling in an apparent road rage shooting Wednesday.

The investigation began in Cobb County then led to a large police presence in Roswell. The initial shooting happened on Woodstock Road near the intersection of Mabry Road around 11:13 a.m.

Both vehicles continued northbound, and the victim eventually stopped in Roswell.

Roswell police said officers were called to the area of Highway 92 and Laurel Lake Road.

They found a victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Police said the victim was conscious, alert, and breathing when first responders arrived.

The victim was transported to a hospital, and their condition is unknown at this time, Cobb County police said.

The investigation remains active.
