ATLANTA — A ground stop has been ordered at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for thunderstorms.
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Coweta County earlier Thursday has expired.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Jennifer Lopez said there will be isolated thunderstorms through the evening.
The rain should largely be gone around midnight.

Friday starts off quiet until we get into the late afternoon, when isolated storms could again develop.
We will also see widely scattered showers around north Georgia.
High temperatures for the weekend will be around the low 90s, with the chance for more afternoon and evening isolated storms and showers.
