Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan says there is a freezing fog advisory in effect until 9 a.m. for the following counties: Bartow, Chattooga, Fannin, Floyd, Gilmer, Gordon, Pickens, Towns and Union counties.
Monahan says areas of fog with temperatures in the 20s to low 30s could make for a few patchy slick spots.
Temperatures will warm up into the 50s as we head throughout the day.
