Parents say the air conditioning at Callaway Elementary is not working properly.

One mom says she’s had to pick her son up early twice this week because he was overheated.

Clayton County confirms it’s having HVAC issues at the school in several classrooms. It says it had brought in portable A/C units to try and relieve some of that heat.

Parent Jocelyn Stargell-Zachery says those portables aren’t doing the job to cool down those classrooms in the summer heat. She’s had to take her child out of school because of it.
