By 11 a.m. that system was completely out of the region, giving way to a partly cloudy sky.

“At this point, it looks like your Sunday afternoon will be mainly dry,” Walls said.

Walls said that will change come Monday, where she is predicting a higher risk for severe storms.

“We’re facing the potential damaging wind, large hail and lightning on Memorial Day,” Walls said. “It looks like widespread storms are on tap for your Monday.”
