ATLANTA — There is another risk for strong and severe storms on Tuesday along with the threat for flooding in some areas.
A flash flood warning has been issued for Dawson, Fannin, Gilmer and Pickens counties until 12:30 p.m. and for Gordon County until 12 p.m.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan says 1-2 inches of rain has fallen over the last couple of hours. An additional inch or two of rain is possible with the slow moving storms.

STORM THREATS TUESDAY
Stronger storms will develop as we head into the afternoon and evening hours.
Much like the storms Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brad Nitz tracked Monday, the main threats will be heavy rain and damaging wind gusts capable of bringing down trees and power lines.
Some storms could even produce some small hail.
TEMPERATURE CHANGES AHEAD
The storms are being driven by a cold front that is slowly crossing north Georgia. The front will bring the coolest weather we’ve had in months as fall officially begins Tuesday at 8:05 p.m.
