ATLANTA — The number of record-breaking days of heat came to an end Saturday. But that doesn't mean the hot and humid weather is going away this weekend.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Katie Walls said temperatures only reached 87 degrees Saturday after several days of record-breaking highs.
Friday marked the fourth consecutive day our temperatures broke the record. It reached 98 degrees, shattering the old record of 95 degrees set in 1991.
