ALLEGHENY COUNTY, Pa. — A pro wrestler was rushed to a hospital from an event in the Pittsburgh area on Saturday. He later died at the age of 48.

Enjoy Wrestling said that former AEW star Andy Williams, who performed as The Butcher, collapsed as his match was ending during an event at Mr. Smalls Theatre.
The league says doctors and staff tended to Williams immediately, including administering CPR until medics arrived, WPXI reported.
AEW confirmed Williams’ death on social media.
“A trailblazing musician with ETID and Atomic Rule, Williams made a successful transition into the world of professional wrestling and was incredibly respected by his peers both in and out of the ring. Our condolences go out to Williams’ family, friends and fans,” they said in a statement.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office confirms Andrews was pronounced dead at 9:43 p.m. The cause and manner of death have not been released.
Millvale police are investigating, the coroner’s office says.
