COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A student who allegedly made a social media threat to shoot up a Smyrna high school is behind bars.
Police found the former Campbell High student about six blocks from the school this afternoon and used a taser to stop him from running away.
Police had saturated the area after students alerted school administrators of the threat. They plan on filing charges.
Channel 2 Action News is going to confirm the threat and see exactly what the threat was and how it was made and from there he'll be charged appropriately.
Police were searching the area, but said it appeared the teen did not have a gun.
