Police said they were looking for three suspects they said were seen leaving in one of the victim's cars.
They described it as a black Lexus sedan with a North Carolina license plate.
Police say an Uber driver called 911 around 11 a.m. saying he had just dropped off three suspicious men at a home on Newtons Crest Circle in Snellville and that they may be related to the shooting.
Gwinnett officers along with Snellville officers responded to the home and found the three suspects. One suspect remained on scene and was taken into custody but the other two suspects ran out behind the home. Officers and K-9s found the two.
