MILTON, Ga. — Channel 2 Action News has learned a Milton man accused of neglecting his daughter to death has faced charges for beating his pregnant wife.
An arrest report said Sandy Springs police arrested Shaun Jewell in 2012 for punching his wife in the face, then kicking her in the stomach while she was four months pregnant.
Milton police have charged Jewell and his wife, Altair Murphy-Hubbard with murder in the death of their 1-year-old daughter.
Police said the couple failed to give their daughter basic nutrition or medical attention for six months.
