COBB COUNTY, Ga. — Police are investigating a shooting that unfolded at a Cobb County apartment complex.
Channel 2's Amanda Cook went to the Barrington Mill Apartments on Terrell Mill Road, where county police were investigating around 5 a.m. Tuesday. Police said they were still working to piece together several different accounts of what happened.
Residents told police they heard an argument in the parking lot followed by one gunshot. Then, a man was seen hopping away to a car, police said.
The victim is believed to have been taken to Kennestone Hospital by a friend. Police told Cook the man was shot in the leg, but the bullet went through both legs. He is expected to be OK.
Police don't have any information about the shooter, who remains on the loose.
