DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Police say a man was found with multiple gunshot wounds inside a crashed car on a DeKalb County highway.

Police said they responded to a crash on Highway 78 at Druid Hills Road Tuesday afternoon. It’s unclear if the person who was found shot was the driver.

Police said they believe the fight began as a dispute at a nearby apartment complex that turned mobile. They do not believe the shooting was an act of road rage.

The victim, who hasn’t been identified, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police have not released any information on potential suspects.

It’s the latest in a string of shootings on Atlanta highways and interstates since the beginning of the year.
