The Powder Springs Police Department said officers stopped the two vehicles after the drivers were allegedly racing on public roads.
Both drivers were taken into custody, police said.
The department warned that driving at speeds over 100 mph can put other drivers and families at risk.
Police encouraged drivers who want to race to take their vehicles to a track instead of public roadways.
“Drive smart. Slow down. Get home safely,” the police department wrote on social media.
