SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — A MARTA bus is surrounded by police tape as officers investigate a double shooting in Sandy Springs.
A Channel 2 Action News photographer captured video from Glenridge Drive and Roswell Road, where both MARTA Police and Sandy Springs Police are responding.

Channel 2’s Darryn Moore is on scene and learned that a man on the bus had a gun that accidentally went off. The shots hit a woman in the knee and the suspected man with the gun in the arm.

Investigators say the man with the gun ran off the bus and police found him at a nearby church. Police are still looking for the gun.
Both were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There were less than 10 people on the bus.
Channel 2 Action News has reached out to MARTA for a statement and is awaiting a response.
