JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. — Authorities are investigating after a plane went down off the Georgia coast on Sunday.
The U.S. Coast Guard Station in Brunswick and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources responded to a small plane that crashed into the marsh off Jekyll Island.

The pilot survived the crash and was taken to a local marina to be checked out by paramedics.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
