One of Georgia county’s ‘most wanted’ arrested for shooting up home

FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. — One of the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office Top 10 Most Wanted fugitives was arrested on Friday afternoon.

Investigators say Amaury Redwine has been on the run for seven months, but they found him hiding in an attic.

Redwine is charged with five counts of aggravated assault, two counts of property damage, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and several probation violations.

According to the statement of criminal charges, investigators say Redwine shot up a home on Garden Avenue.

Deputies say there were five people inside, including a juvenile.

He is being held in the Floyd County Jail.
