ATLANTA — It’s that time of year when the amount of daylight is getting shorter each day. You’ll notice that even more this week.
Sunday was the last sunset after 7 p.m. until next year. Monday’s sunset will be around 6:59 p.m.

You can expect sunsets in the 6 p.m. hour for the rest of October. And when daylight saving time ends on Nov. 1, the sunsets will be in the 5 p.m. hour with the clocks falling back.
Georgia will stay on standard time until daylight saving time resumes on March 14, 2027.
