NORTH FULTON COUNTY, Ga. - The Georgia Department of Transportation says crews will close lanes on parts of SR 400 and nearby roads starting Sept. 27 for the SR 400 Express Lanes project.
The project will add new express lanes in both directions along about 16 miles of SR 400 from the North Springs MARTA Station at Exit 5C in Fulton County to about 1 mile north of McFarland Parkway at Exit 12 in Forsyth County.

Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) says southbound SR 400 will have nightly single lane closures from Kimball Bridge Road to Mansell Road from Sept. 27 through Oct. 1 and from Roberts Drive to Abernathy Road from Sept. 28 through Oct. 2. Those closures will run from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Northbound SR 400 will have nightly single lane closures from Mansell Road to Kimball Bridge Road from Sept. 27 through Oct. 1, from Abernathy Road to Roberts Drive from Sept. 28 through Oct. 2 and on the northbound CD lane from Abernathy Road to North Springs MARTA Station from Sept. 28 through Oct. 2. Those closures will also run from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

GDOT says Spalding Drive eastbound between Trowbridge Road and Peachtree Dunwoody Road will have daily lane closures from Sept. 28 through Oct. 2 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Riverside Road westbound at Don White Memorial Park and Old Alabama Road will have daily lane closures from Sept. 28 through Oct. 2 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to GDOT.
GDOT advises drivers to expect delays and use caution in work zones. The agency the closures could change because of weather or other factors.
