A Newton County jury has found a woman charged in the 2016 killing of 19-year-old Morgan Bauer guilty on all charges.
Prosecutors say Katelyn Goble and her boyfriend, Alex Warren, were “psychopaths” who were obsessed with serial killers.
According to prosecutors, the two befriended Bauer and lured her to their Porterdale home, then strangled her, dismembered her body and later burned the remains.
Prosecutors said Bauer was an exotic dancer who had arrived in metro Atlanta two weeks earlier. They also said Goble and Warren targeted her because they thought no one would miss her.

The defense said Goble was in the room when Bauer was killed but said Warren carried out the killing. The defense also said Goble was terrified of him and stayed quiet for years out of fear.
Warren pleaded guilty to murder two years ago and was sentenced to life.
Sentencing for Goble will be held on Tuesday.
