HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — Five people were arrested in connection with a quadruple shooting that left three people dead and a tight-knit town shaken.
Police responded to a home in the 600 block of Moccasin Gap Road in McDonough early Thursday morning. The call originally came in as a home invasion reported at about 2 a.m., police said.
Officers arrived and found four people shot inside the house, in the living room and kitchen areas.
Officers said the victims all knew each other, although they have yet to say the connections between them and the suspected killers.
Three died and a fourth victim was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital where they remain in critical condition.
Thursday night, Henry County police announced the arrests of Matthew Baker Jr., 19, and Jacob Kosky, 22. They are each charged with three counts of murder.
Baker was arrested during a felony traffic stop at his home, and Kosky was arrested after he called 911 to turn himself in, police said.
Three others, Jacob Williams 18, of McDonough, Kayla Head 21, of McDonough, and Brooke Knight, 19, of Locust Grove, were also arrested and charged with obstruction of a police investigation in the case.
The Henry County coroner identified the victims as Matthew Hicks, 18, of McDonough, Keith Gibson, 29, of Covington, and Sophia Bullard, 20, of Thomason.
The families have all been identified, the coroner said Friday.
Police said they are confident they have arrested all the people involved in the shooting.
They are still working to identify a motive.

Channel 2's Audrey Washington talked to a close friend of the family about the shooting that rocked the small community.
"Good people. When I came down, I couldn't believe it was this house, because these are good people. I mean, it's a good community,” Josh Milam said.
