ATLANTA — Monroe Drive is shut down in both directions near Ansley Mall as Atlanta Watershed Department investigates a potential water main break.
Channel 2′s Bryan Mims can see where a hole has also opened up on the street in front of the entrance to the Publix. Watershed crews are on the scene and digging out the road more to assess the damage.

“We will provide further updates as additional information becomes available,” a spokesperson said.
It’s unclear when Monroe Drive will reopen at this time.
