Metro Atlanta defense attorney accused of soliciting client for sex

The defense attorney was arrested after an investigation by the GBI

COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A 77-year-old defense attorney in Cobb County is accused of soliciting sex acts from a client, according to the state’s attorney general.

Roger L. Curry was charged with three counts pandering and one count sexual battery after allegedly soliciting sex acts from a client.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit investigated the case.

Curry, of Roger L. Curry, P.C. in Marietta, was taken into custody by the GBI on Aug. 29.

“These are serious allegations that will not be tolerated, no matter who is involved,” said Attorney General Chris Carr. “We’re proud to have worked with the GBI on this case, and we will ensure those responsible are held fully accountable for their actions.”
