ATLANTA — Parade-related street closures will affect MARTA transportation to Saturday afternoon’s Braves game.
The Braves take on the Colorado Rockies at 4:10 p.m. The Turner Field shuttle will pick up fans from the West End station on Saturday, May 24, instead of the Five Points station/Underground. On Saturday only, the shuttles will begin their Braves service at 1:30 p.m. Fans will need to board buses toward the front of the West End station on Lee Street.
At the start of the seventh inning, the MARTA shuttle will resume its regular service to Five Points Station/Underground for fans leaving the game.
This is a one-day only change for Saturday.
Saturday’s parade will also affect bus routes in Downtown Atlanta. Route #186 will be re-routed to Georgia State Station instead of Five Points. Route #110 will only operate between Arts Center and Lenox station. Those changes last all day.
From 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. routes #74 and #32 will only operate from King Memorial Station; both routes will resume their normal operation out of the Five Points Station after 4 p.m. Routes #1 and #51 will operate from Vine City Station instead of Five Points.
