COBB COUNTY, Ga. — A Marietta police officer helped bring holiday magic to students at a local school.
Officer Hill surprised a classroom full of students at A.L. Burruss Elementary School last week when he brought in a giant gingerbread man. The students were participating in a project based on a holiday book where they make a gingerbread man that comes to life and causes mischief around the school.

Hill told the students that he “apprehended” the gingerbread man after it got inside of his police car and started turning on the sirens and blue lights. The students were enthralled by his tale.
“I saw him running through the school and I started chasing him,” Hill said.
The students all gave Hill a big group hug after learning of his heroic “deed.”
The video has more than 500,000 videos on Facebook with thousands of comments and “likes.”
