ATLANTA — Police found a man shot to death inside a SUV at a southwest Atlanta apartment complex. Officers had responded to gunfire at the same complex 24 hours earlier.

Atlanta Police were called out to the Villages at Castleberry Hill Apartments for a shooting around 1:30 a.m. Friday. They found a man dead behind the wheel of a gray SVU that rolled into the front of another car.

Almost exactly 24 hours before on Thursday, APD responded to multiple shots that damaged a few apartments and at least four cars in the same complex. No one was hurt.
But overnight Friday, that was not the case as homicide detectives try to determine what led to this deadly shooting.
