HALL COUNTY, Ga. — A Forsyth County man convicted and sentenced for boating under the influence filed a civil suit for his release.
In 2012, Paul Bennett crashed into another boat on Lake Lanier and two boys died. He was found not guilty of homicide by vessel but he is serving two and half years for other charges.
Bennett has now filed a civil suit against the Hall County sheriff for release. He claims his good behavior has not been recognized.
