MONROE COUNTY, Ga. — A metro Atlanta man is facing charges after being pulled over with drugs and machetes in his minivan.
Jalen Jones, of Loganville, was arrested in Monroe County after deputies pulled over his Dodge Caravan.

When they searched the car, they found marijuana, methamphetamine, fentanyl, marijuana wax, four machetes, a drone, large folding knife, knife sharpener, two hacksaw blades, pepper spray, 29 cellphones and chargers and more.
Investigators believe he was trying to smuggle contraband into the jail.

Jones was arrested and charged with trafficking meth, trafficking fentanyl, trafficking marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana wax, possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana and more.
He is currently being held in the Monroe County Jail without bond.
