‘Kill him and go to jail with a smile’: Woman accused of throwing knife at man

FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. — A woman is accused of chasing a victim with a knife before raising it over her head and throwing it at him.

The man captured video of Nora Ventura saying “she would kill him and go to jail with a smile on her face,” Floyd County Sheriff’s Office said in the statement of charges.

Officials said the attack happened Tuesday at a home on Ross Street in Rome.

Ventura was charged with two family violence felonies, aggravated assault and terroristic threats and acts.

She was booked in the Floyd County Jail.
