ATLANTA — It’s going to be another hot and humid weekend across north Georgia, with scattered afternoon storms.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Eboni Deon says temperatures will climb into the lower 90s both Saturday and Sunday, with a 30% to 40% chance of afternoon storms.

Sunday brings a low-end risk for severe weather across parts of east and northeast Georgia.
The threat is a Level 1 out of 5, with possible damaging wind gusts. The risk includes areas around Blairsville, Gainesville and Athens.

Storm chances will stick around next week with isolated to scattered showers and storms each day from Monday through Wednesday.
Temperatures will remain warm, with highs generally in the lower 90s.
