Fourth teenager dies after crash just miles from Henry County high school

HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — A fourth teenager who was involved in a crash in Henry County that killed three other teens has died, according to Henry County police.

Kendarius Jackson, 16, died Friday, according to the Henry County Police Department.

His classmates, Kendarrias Dodson, 16; Katrina Owens 15; and Jordan Brown 15, were all killed in the initial crash, which happened Wednesday afternoon less than two miles from Eagle’s Landing High School, where the teens were students.

A fifth student, Zakyra Jones, is hospitalized with serious injuries.

Police said the car, a 2002 Nissan Altima, went off of Oak Grove Road in McDonough and crashed down an embankment, hitting several trees.

The community is planning a vigil for the teens on Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the high school’s football stadium.

The case is still under investigation and there are no further details available at this time.
