ATLANTA — There was a big traffic issue growing in Midtown Atlanta Wednesday afternoon after a gas leak closed a busy portion of Peachtree Street.
The road was closed between 14th and 16th streets, and it was a recipe for disaster during the lunchtime rush.
NewsChopper 2 was over the scene and showed workers using heavy equipment to open up the road.
The road reopened a little before 4 p.m.
