GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Gainesville City Schools approved a project to replace the heating and air system at New Holland Leadership Academy.
According to documents from the school board, the replacement of the HVAC system will cost the district $671,000.
Freedom Mechanical, based in Lula, won the contract to replace the system.
Documents detailing the project scope say the company will perform work to:
- Replace 32 water source heat pumps
- Replace all valve and hose kits
- Replace all existing drains, rework
- Replace 4 water source pumps in mechanical room, ALC automated controls
The project is expected to be finished before the 2026-2027 school year starts.
