GAINESVILLE, Ga. — Gainesville police are at the scene of human remains found near a wooded area on Jesse Jewel Parkway near Dorsey Street.
Police say the remains belonged to an adult male. Police are unsure how long the body has been there since it is heavily decomposed.
The remains were found around 2 p.m.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigations has been called to help in this investigation.
