Gainesville man sentenced for DUI hit-and-run crash that injured infant

HALL COUNTY, Ga. — A Gainesville man will now spend four months in jail for driving under the influence during a hit-and-run crash that happened in August.

Rigoberto Osorio-Colin, 24, crashed into an SUV, injuring an infant.

Police later found the car he was driving was stolen.

The court found him guilty of DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, and not having a driver’s license.

Osorio-Colin was sentenced to 36 months, four of which will be spent in jail.

He’ll serve the rest on probation.
