HALL COUNTY, Ga. — Rescue crews are still searching for a man who jumped off of a boat on Lake Lanier Saturday and didn’t resurface.

The man disappeared between the Holiday Marina and Van Pugh South around 2 p.m.

Crews used sonar to try to find the victim over the weekend. Officials said the lake is 60-80 feet deep in that area and is high traffic with choppy water.
On Monday, game wardens are continuing to search by sonar. Wardens said that deep water and standing timber are making the search difficult.

The victim has not been identified.
