GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police confirm to Channel 2 Action News they have caught the suspect they were looking for in the shooting death of a man found shot to death outside a Gwinnett County day care Saturday.
Police say a woman brought the victim to the Childtime Day Care Center along Darling Court around 3:30 p.m. Saturday to try and get him to safety after he had been shot somewhere else.
The man died on his way to a nearby hospital.
Gwinnett police confirmed late Sunday evening, they caught the suspect after the Gwinnett County SWAT team served a warrant on Lochshyre Way in unincorporated Lawrenceville.
Investigators are not releasing the identity of the suspect at this point because they are a juvenile.
