GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga — Gwinnett County jailers located a missing and very special inmate – a dog, on Tuesday.
Rogue is part of the Gwinnett County Jail’s Second Chance Rescue Program and had been missing since February.
Channel 2's Linda Stouffer reported when the 15-pound Yorkshire terrier mix broke free from a volunteer at Lawrenceville Park.
Rogue escaped a trap that was customized for her with hamburgers. She doesn’t like dog food.
Shannon Volkodav, with the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office, believed Rogue was surviving on scraps people are feeding her.
Gwinnett County jailers are very thankful for the citizen who was able to capture her Tuesday in Lawrenceville.
