City of Peachtree Corners introduces new technology intended to keep bikers safer this summer

PEACHTREE CORNERS, Ga — The city of Peachtree Corners wants to keep cyclists safe on the roads this summer.

Data from the national highway traffic safety administration shows 79% of cyclist-related crashes happen during the summer months.

Recently, leaders at Peachtree Corners announced a new bicycle and cycling safety initiative.

It is a new tech application that allows cyclists to communicate with nearby drivers on the road.
