GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — It was a close call for several people waiting inside of a Department of Driver Services building in Gwinnett County.
A car crashed into the building Wednesday afternoon.
A Lexus SUV plowed through the glass window and ended up in the lobby with customers inside.
At least one person ended up in the hospital with minor injuries.
“I was on the other side so I didn’t see the seriousness of it, until I came around the corner,” said customer Dallas Hamilton.

Police said the driver accidentally pressed on the gas, and not the brake pedal and won't face any charges.
Crews boarded up the location where the crashed happened.
The building reopens at 7:30 a.m. Thursday.
