GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — An accident on Interstate 85 south in Gwinnett County shut down all interstate lanes early Wednesday morning.
Gwinnett County police were on the scene of an accident near Hamilton Mill Road.
Georgia Department of Transportation cameras showed nearly 12 patrol cars blocking off the interstate.
Officials have not provided details on how many drivers or cars were involved in the accident.
Authorities said there are serious injuries.

One right lane started to open just before 11 a.m. The interstate fully reopened around 12:30 p.m.
