GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office says 17 people were arrested and 31 warrants were served during a two-day enforcement operation aimed at locating people wanted on misdemeanor and felony charges.

The operation took place Aug. 5 and Aug. 6 across Gwinnett County, according to the sheriff’s office.
Officials said warrant enforcement efforts help ensure individuals with outstanding warrants are brought before the courts to address pending charges.
Among those arrested were:
- Jeremy Duane Binion — Possession of more than one ounce of marijuana
- Dontae Burns — Family Violence Temporary Protective Order violation; hold for Walton County
- Asya Lena Hendricks — Willful obstruction of law enforcement officers; Recorder’s Court failure to appear
- Jorge Hernandez Montoya — Battery-Family Violence
- Ajanea Tamir Lemon — Hold for Kennesaw Police Department
- Latawsha Little-Hill — Simple Assault-Family Violence
- Anthony Joseph Martinez — Felony probation violation related to robbery and possession of marijuana
- Patrick McIntosh — Felony probation violation related to robbery and possession of marijuana
- Agustin Patino — Second-degree criminal damage to property
- Oscar Romero — Serious injury by vehicle, reckless stunt driving, racing on highways or streets, improper lane change, improper passing resulting in an accident, speeding and window tint violations
- Steven Sanders — Multiple felony probation violations involving burglary, theft by taking, financial identity fraud, receiving stolen property, driving with a suspended license, fleeing and eluding police and firearm possession by a convicted felon
- Gregory Soto — Felony probation violation involving entering an automobile, obstruction of law enforcement officers, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and theft by taking
- Kevin King — Simple assault, simple battery, criminal trespass damage and disorderly conduct
- Michael Scott Nichols — Felony probation violations involving methamphetamine possession and firearm possession by a convicted felon
- Amir Tyriq Sanders — Simple Battery-Family Violence and third-degree cruelty to children
- Astrid Vallecillo-Quezada — Felony probation violations involving methamphetamine possession, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, credit card theft and impersonation
- Mirian Velasquez Gutierrez — Battery-Family Violence
