GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — A 15-year-old boy in Gwinnett County has died of the coronavirus, according to officials with the Georgia Department of Public Health.
The boy, identified only as being Caucasian, was from Gwinnett County. Officials said he did have an underlying medical condition.

The teen is the second youngest person in Georgia to die from COVID-19 and the youngest to die in metro Atlanta.
A 7-year-old died in Chatham County in the Savannah metro area.
Officials said the 7-year-old drowned after having a febrile seizure in the bathtub.
Georgia reported over 3,000 new cases of the coronavirus and 96 new deaths Saturday.
